Description: This experiment has been imported from ArrayExpress.

Description at ArrayExpress:
"Medicago truncatula, which has a relatively small diploid genome, has been adopted as a model species for legume genomics. To enhance its value as a model, we have generated a gene expression atlas that provides a global view of gene expression in all major organ systems of this species, with special emphasis on nodule and seed development."

Note:
The sample descriptions shown at PLEXdb have been extracted directly from Array express without any modification except for 'age'. The sample 'age' at PLEXdb is a combination of three sample fields at ArrayExpress, viz., 'Age', 'TimeUnit' and 'InitialTimePoint'.

For more details, please refer to ArrayExpress [Experiment : E-MEXP-1097], the experimenter's website, http://bioinfo.noble.org/gene-atlas/ and their publication.
